I Designed 5 unique pieces of redesigned Second Hand clothes for the upcoming indie/rock band Maggie Talks. The clothes are presented in their new music video, Savior, that i art directed, project managed and developed the concept for.
The video is made in collaberation with many skilled people that i will mention later on.

The LOOK - STOREMADE Collection Event

To celebrate the launch of my STOREMADE Collection, Consisting of 6 handmade t-shirts and 7 pair of jeans, i held a pre-party at weekday in Vestergade 23. The GalloBoys delivered great Rock 'n' Roll tunes and a chilled atmosphere.
The afterparty was held at club Faust (Tacky Torsdag). Visuals from the project was displayed in the dark basement, and the DJ's, Ancient Relic and DJ GG & 1 M were amazing.
I Thank everybody for a wonderful night.

Den 16/7 blev Marco Storm Braskovs STOREMADE kollektion The LOOK lanceret i Weekday, Vestergade 23, København. Den er håndlavet og er derfor i meget begrænset oplag. Den består af et par jeans og en T-shirt der er hans fortolkning af en Moderne Urbane Kriger. Den har også referencer til en tidlig 70′er Punk bølge i sine detaljer.
Smut endelig forbi og kig på de fine klæder fra Hr. Braskovs slidte hænder.

The LOOK is a project that stretched over a long period of time.
I used both photography, film and clothing design to depict certain tendencies, fashion, trends, make etnoraids, kultural analysis etc. in Copenhagen. I had a blast doing it.

The photographic part became a visual diary.

The movie i did became a documentary and time warp to certain events, fashion, attitudes and lifestyles happening right now in Copenhagen. (Which has been quite debated - Really nice to get reactions on my work by the way.)

Belt Bag

This is a very simple belt bag i made. It can also be worn over the shoulder, it depends on how you strap the belt on the back of the bag. Mostly i like the compostion and colours of the picture.

Digital Print meets Hand Drawing

I made three different hand drawings, scanned them to my mac and worked with them in photoshop.
I had to chose one to make an all-over print with and it became the ink/blob like drawing, because it was so fun to play with using reflections. Later on i got it digitally printed to canvas and i made these distorted carnival pants out of it. You can zip the pants in two halves.

The pants are worn by Søren Franck Foglmann.

ReAnimate Installation

I made this installation piece in the basement of KEA Design/Business, to accompany the Revive project, and give another aspect of sustainability to it.

It is made out second hand clothing and branches that fell down from trees.
I named it ReAnimate because the "branch men" got kind of vivid personalities i think.
I presented the process of the installation as an animation movie with 30 pictures.

Revive - Sustainable Fashion/Art Project

The following pictures are from a lookbook, Shot by Danni Niebling (No41), for my Sustainable Fashion/Art Project called Revive.
I completely transformed three second hand garments into two new styles.
I deconstructed them to create a new silhoutte, dyed it into a new colour and gave them unique trimmings.

The two styles are worn by my friend, upcoming designer and model, Christian Anker. (Unique models)

I assisted Siv Støldal on planning and hands on realising the concept for Shhhhhhhh.../Store in Bergen.
It was a Pop-up store that Siv Art directed and it won "Bergensprisen" for best shop 09'

Internship - Siv Støldal - Project White T-Shirt

Last summer 09' i went to Norway for an internship for 3 months to assist menswear designer Siv Stoldal. I assisted her on various interesting projects, and one of them was Project White T-shirt.

About the Project:

Project White T-Shirt is a creative effort in which 33 avant-garde and innovative fashion designers from 15 countries were invited to transform, recreate and redefine the basic white T-shirt. The pieces will be exhibited at Welcome Hunters in Fall 2009 and Space 15 Twenty Gallery in March 2010. More locations to be announced soon. All T-shirts will be auctioned with all profits going to Designers Against Aids.

For the project, Siv created a set of three t-shirts in classic white, ecru, and navy polo, which form a tent when the sides are snapped together. Alternatively, each t-shirt can be unsnapped and worn individually.

Both the pants, the shirt and the vest are made out of black linnen. The styles can be worn together or easily stand alone.

The shirt and vest have many medieval references, but with a modern twist.
I made belts out of kernel leather, for the wrists and waist, to make it possible to slim the outfit in.

I also made ankle belts for the pants to give them a kind of carrot like silhouette. In addition i gave them a zipper in front for some Rock attitude.

I tried to make it all add up to a Dark/Rock 'n'Roll Knight.

This is the first shirt i did during my education at KEA Design/Business from 2008-10 (Formerly known as BEC Design). The shirt is inspired by the painters from the 17th century. It is made out of black linnen and has buttons of polished stone.
